ASYLUM is a cyclical ecosystem that revolves around meme creation, token burning, and multiplier-based rewards.
It operates through repeating 28-day cycles where users compete to push meme content, earn token multipliers, and strategically trade between tokens.
The system uses two primary tokens:
ECT – the base token used for burning, voting, and minting.
tn – meme tokens created in each cycle based on community votes
At its core, ASYLUM gamifies token interactions and meme culture by rewarding active participation and timing.
The system starts with ECT tokens available at $0.002.
For the first 12 months, the price of ECT doubles each cycle.
After 12 months, the price increases at a slower rate, using the formula:
Price Factor after n cycles = 1 + (1 × 0.25^(n-1)), making it gradually less aggressive over time.
Each cycle is broken into two 14-day phases, creating a predictable and engaging loop
Users burn $ECT tokens to:
Vote or nominate memes
Qualify for multipliers in the next minting phase
During this window, users can mint the selected tn token.
Users burn ECT tokens to mint tn at the multiplier they earned in Step 1.
Formula:
tn minted = ECT burned × multiplier
The system allows users to burn tn tokens at any time to mint ECT, depending on the current supply of that tn token.
The fewer tn tokens remain, the higher the return multiplier:
After each cycle:
A new meme token (tn+1) is introduced
The process repeats with new voting, burning, and minting
Old tn tokens remain active for reverse burn at any time, creating lasting value for past cycle participants
