Meme Asylum has launched its World Cup Predictor — a free-to-play score prediction game where players compete for a share of 50,000,000 ECT across eight prize pools and bonus rewards. No entry fee. No catch. Just connect your wallet on BASE, predict exact match scores, and climb the leaderboard.

How It Works
Every match. Every score. One prediction at a time.
Players predict the exact scoreline of each World Cup match before kickoff. Points are awarded based on accuracy — nail the exact score and you earn 10 points. Get the result right with the correct goal difference and that's 8. Even getting the winner right earns you 4.
The full scoring breakdown:
Perfect — exact scoreline correct — 10 points
Nailed It — correct result + correct goal difference — 8 points
Right Call — you called the draw, score was wrong — 7 points
Close — correct result + one team's exact goals — 5 points
Direction — correct winner, goals wrong — 4 points
Wrong — back to the padded cell — 0 points
Predictions lock at kickoff for each match. No changes after the whistle. Results are pulled automatically from live match data, scores calculated instantly, and the leaderboard updates in real time.

NFT Holders Win More
The prize structure rewards the asylum's most committed patients.
Every pool splits its prizes across three tiers. The top 10% of players share the pot, but not equally:
60% — Main Prize. All top 10% finishers share this by rank.
25% — NFT Side Pot. Only top 10% finishers who hold a Meme Asylum NFT qualify for an additional share from this pot.
15% — Jersey Bonus. Only top 10% finishers who hold one of the 49 limited-edition World Cup jersey variant NFTs qualify for this bonus.
What does that mean in practice?
A top finisher with no NFT takes home their share of the main prize. A top finisher holding a base Meme Asylum NFT earns from the main prize and the NFT side pot. A top finisher holding a jersey variant 1/1 earns from all three pools.
If no NFT holders finish in the top 10%, those portions roll into the main prize. Nobody loses out — the pot is always distributed in full.
The Jersey Variant Collection
Alongside the predictor launch, Meme Asylum is releasing 49 one-of-one World Cup jersey variant NFTs from the Meme Asylum NFT collection.
Each of the 10 characters from Meme Asylum has been assigned national team jerseys based on their lore — The Fugitive wears Scotland because McAfee was born in Dumbarton. The Chaplain wears Spain because of the Inquisition. The Dictator wears a single jersey: Israel. A non-qualified nation. The only wildcard in the collection.
49 jerseys. 49 unique 1/1s. Once minted, they're gone. Holders of these variants get access to the 15% jersey bonus on every predictor pool they enter.

Final 8 — 7 matches. Quarter-finals to the final. For the ones who show up when it matters most. The smallest window, the highest stakes.
